Midwest Simon Claims Despite Increase In People Leaving Homelessness Parallel Demand Remains For Emergency Accommodation

Midwest Simon is warning the number of people seeking to remain in emergency accommodation is keeping pace with rising numbers of those exiting homelessness.

It comes as the latest Department of Housing Homelessness Report has indicated an almost 20% increase in the number of adults accessing emergency accommodation in Clare in the last year, with 201 child dependants without a permanent home in the Midwest.
