MidWest Migrants Centre Believes Communities Should Focus On Benefits Of International Protection Applicants

A MidWest Migrants Rights Centre insists that International Protection Applicants arriving here are comprehensively profiled and documented before entering the country.

A community protest was stood down in Balinrobe Co.Mayo yesterday when news emerged that a property mooted to house up to 50 male Asylum Seekers, was made available to families instead.

It comes amid renewed calls from opposition parties for the government to rollout a dedicated immigration misinformation campaign.
