A prominent member of the Midwest Hospitals Campaign says the group “won’t take no for an answer” on its call for the reopening of an Emergency Department in Ennis.
The campaign is set to take to the streets of the county town on Saturday May 21st, to protest increasing overcrowding numbers at University Hospital Limerick.
98 people are waiting for a bed in Dooradoyle as of this morning according to the INMO, with UHL having seen 100 people or more counted on trolleys by nurses a number of times in recent weeks.
