Met Éireann Issues Further Alteration To Clare Weather Warning

Met Éireann has issued a further alteration to a low level weather alert due to come into effect in Clare.

Having been due to be in place from 4pm until midnight, the yellow wind warning will now come into effect at 2pm and expire at 8pm.

The national forecaster is warning of the potential for some wave overtopping, loose objects being displaced, fallen trees and branches and difficult travelling conditions.

The weather warning will also be in place in counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Galway, Wexford and Wicklow.
