A special memorial service is set to be held today for the Irishman who died on Mount Everest at the weekend.
John Delaney was less than 50 metres from the summit when he collapsed on Saturday.

His body cannot be brought back for burial but a memorial service will take place at home in Ballinakill in Co Laois this afternoon.
