A mediator has been appointed to settle an ongoing dispute between the National Transport Authority and Clare Bus.
It follows a meeting between Clare’s five oireachtas members and the NTA last week, which aimed to heal a rift between the bus operator and the NTA over money owed.

The NTA is set to begin a new procurement process on Thursday for nine routes, and Clare Bus can submit a bid for tender.
Clare’s Independent TD Michael McNamara is welcoming this latest development but says it’s still an uphill battle for Clare Bus to return to service.
