The body of man has been found in Galway.

The man who is believed to be in his 20s was discovered near Oranmore at around midday.
The remains have been taken to University College Hospital Galway for a post-mortem exam which cwill be carried out tomorrow.
Gardaí are investigating, however the body is not thought to be that of an 18-year-old man who was the subject of a search and rescue operation last night when he was seen entering the River Corrib at around 11:30.
