Management at Ennistymon's largest employer says the sale of the company to a US manufacturer gives it a footing from which it can grow.
Data Display has been providing electronic display for real-time passenger information for over 30 years, and employs 130 people, with the vast majority of those at it's facility in the Deerpark Industrial Estate.

It has now been purchased by Daktronics, a NASDAQ-listed firm which manufactures products including LED video displays, scoreboard and digital billboards.
The new owners have promised to retain the current workforce.
Now the General Manager of Data Display, Paul Neville says the deal is good news for their suppliers, employees and customers.
