One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the M18 this afternoon.
A single-vehicle collision took place on the route northbound in the townland of Sheeaun between Crusheen and Gort at approximately 4pm.

Gardaí responded to the incident along with units of the Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis, Galway Fire and Rescue Service from Gort and the National Ambulance Service.
The man was taken to hospital as a precaution and both lanes have now reopened.
