Major Farmer protest over falling incomes

 

Over a hundred tractors are expected to travel through the streets of Ennis this morning in protest at the cuts to farm family incomes.

The protest, organised by the Irish Farmers Organisation is part of a nationwide event at 29 locations to highlight farmer’s opposition to further cuts in the upcoming budget

Clare farmers are being encouraged to come out and join in the protest which is getting underway at the Clare Marts on the Quin Road at 11 am with the tractorcade beginning at 11.30
