Love is in the air in Lisdoonvarna this weekend, as the annual matchmaking festival get underway today.
One of Ireland’s oldest traditional festivals takes place this weekend as local and international bachelors and bacherolettes descend on the small spa town in search of true love.
A recent census report found there is over 1.7 million single people in Ireland or 43% of the population.
