Lough Derg RNLI Urges Water Users To Heed Safety Advice Ahead Of Hot Spell Next Week

Lough Derg RNLI are appealing to water users to heed safety advice when heading out on the lake.

It comes ahead of a hot spell next week, with Met Éireann forecasting temperatures of up to 30 degrees on Sunday and Monday.

Rescue crews have been called out to a number of incidents in Lough Derg recently, including one last night, during which six people were brought to safety from a vessel taking on water near Mountshannon.
