There’s been a significant drugs seizure in the Gort area.
Two men and a woman are being quizzed in connection with the haul.
As part of an ongoing investigation Gardai raided a house in the Gort area yesterday and during a search of the premises uncovered a quantity of Canabis Resin with an estimated street vaule of 170 thosuand euro.
Two men in their forties and a woman in her 30’s were arrested at the scene .
They are currently being held at Gort and Loughrea Garda sattions under Drug Trafficking legistion.
Seperatly and 2 men are being held after a major drugs seizure at Dublin Port – Cannabis Resin and herbal Canbis worth an estimated 1.1 million euro was discovered by Customs Officers consealed in bags of woodchip and food tins in a container which arrived from Hollyhad
