It’s hoped a major funding boost will make economic waves for a prominent West Clare recreational attraction.
It comes as Kilkee Waterworld and Drift Cafe has been approved for €500,000 worth of grants from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland under the Better Energy Communities Scheme.
The facility has been closed to the public since September of 2022 to undergo renovations and retrofitting, but the facility is on track to re-open this June.
