The late Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe, who was killed in the line of duty five years ago, will be honoured in Kilkee this weekend.

Adrian was shot dead during an armed robbery of a credit union in Louth in 2013, becoming the first Garda to die in the line of duty in almost 20 years.

St Senan’s GAA Club will hold the sixth annual Perpetual Cup held in his honour his memory, contribution and sacrifice – the first time it’s coming to Clare.
