Kilkee ‘Do Not Swim’ Notices Lifted

The ‘Do Not Swim’ notices have been lifted from Kilkee beach.

Irish Water and Clare County Council have announced that repair and upgrade works at the town’s wastewater pumping station have been completed.

The swim prohibition notice has been in place since December, since an operational safety device at the pumping station failed during a period of heavy rainfall.
