A tourist attraction in West Clare is set to make a triumphant return in a matter of weeks.
The well-known diving boards at Newfoundout in Kilkee were removed in 2014, after they were damaged, and while a local fundraising campaign saw new ones purchased last year, it wasn’t possible to clear them for use outdoors.
Following a review, Clare County Council will now re-instate the popular boards, with the implementation of a number of recommendations, including an indicator to display the depth of the tide.
