“Jury Still Out” On Impact Of New ALDI On Killaloe

It’s claimed the jury’s still out on whether or not the planned ALDI for Killaloe will have a positive impact on the town.

An Bord Pleanála has granted permission for the discount supermarket giant to proceed with building a new store on Abbey Street in the town.

A number of objections had been raised by concerned local traders, who feared it would negatively impact on their business and result in the loss of jobs.
