ISPCC Midwest Claims Steps Need To Be Taken To Restore Confidence In Foster Care System

A local representative of the ISPCC insists immediate steps must be taken to restore public confidence in the foster care system. 

There are calls for a full independent review into allegations that children were left in foster care settings despite allegations of sexual abuse.

Tuesday night's RTE programme highlighted a new case in the west of Ireland, in which two children were left in care, after claims against a family member.
