The Irish high temperature record for May has been broken again at Shannon Airport.
Temperatures hit 30.5 degrees degrees at the Clare base at 5pm today – the highest ever recorded in Ireland in May.

It’s the second day in-a-row the record has been shattered in Shannon, with temperatures reaching 28.6 degrees on Monday.
A Status Yellow warning remains in effect for Clare along with Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Kilkenny, Laois and Offaly, with nighttime temperatures of 15 degrees likely.
