Irish Rail Says Organisation Would Support Station In Crusheen

The CEO of Irish Rail says the organisation would support the development of an active train station in Crusheen in principle.

€1.5 million was granted for the stop as part of the Western Rail corridor back in 2010, before a government u-turn on the project in 2016.

There have been several campaigns in the village for a stop to be included as part of an extended Limerick to Galway route over the last number of years.
