A New York-based immigration lawyer has admitted that the prospects of reform to help the Undocumented Irish in the U.S. are slim.
From Doolin, Lorcan Shannon has his own practice in Manhattan, and has worked in the area of immigration law in the US for over a decade.
And as President Trump continues to target illegal immigrants with some of his policies, many Irish citizens are said to be fearful that they could be caught up in the ongoing crackdown.

While the prospect of this changing is tied into the political landscape in the States, and next year’s Presidential election, Lorcan feels the situation for most Irish people is not as bad as for those from other countries.
