Members of the public could get to have their say on plans for the West Clare Greenway as soon as this month.

Work continues to progress on the project, which is intended to connect Ennis to Kilkee over a 115 kilometre route.

Engagement between landowners and Clare County Council on the exact route of the Greenway is expected to get underway shortly, with the local authority hopeful of submitting an official planning application within 12 months.
