Gardaí are making a fresh appeal for dash cam footage following the Carrigaholt Post Office robbery last week.
The incident, during which a woman in her 40s received injuries, happened on Wednesday last week, at around 3 o’clock.
Four people have since appeared in court, charged in connection with the incident.
Sergeant Edel Bourke from Kilrush Garda Station, says Gardaí are seeking to trace the movements of a car in West Clare in the week leading up to Wednesday.
“We are asking your listeners do they have dash cam footage from last Wednesday between 1pm and 4pm in the areas of Carrigaholt, Querrin, Doonbeg, Cree or Kilmaley areas.
“We are especially interested in the whereabouts of a black saloon car with tinted windows between these times. Did you happen to see this car?
“We are also asking listeners if they observed any suspicious persons or vehicles in or around Carrigaholt in the week leading up to the 21st January 2026,” Sergeant Bourke said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Kilrush Gardaí on 065 908 0550.
