There was a 13% reduction in the number of drug convictions in Clare last year.
Newly-released figures show there were 68 such convictions recorded at the Ennis District Court Office in 2025, down from 78 the previous year.

Almost all of those convictions were for possession of drugs and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
