The IFA's Clare County Chairman has called on the Government to give farmers more time to pay their tax bills.

It comes as The Irish Farmers Association has revealed its Budget submission for next year.
The group says farmers' incomes is its top priority, in a year which has seen dairy farmers' earnings affected by the abolition of milk quotas.
Willie Hanrahan insists that spreading the cost over three years would make a considerable difference for struggling farmers.
