There’s been an upsurge of interest in investing in Clare from foreign employers so far this year.
Newly-released figures show the IDA organised 17 site visits for investors in Clare in the first six months of the year.

That’s already surpassed the figure for 2018, and only Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Louth have seen more.
The visits are a key step in a company’s decision-making process on where to invest.
Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphries has paid tribute to the IDA’s efforts to secure investment outside of cities.
