West Clare Councillor Ian Lynch says he's running in the General Election.
The Independent Kilrush Councillor, who formerly represented Fine Gael whilst on Kilrush Town Council, has told the Clare Champion that he will enter the race, following months of speculation about his intentions.

It's widely expected that there will be a further addition in the coming days with Fine Gael expected to announce that Ennis Councillor Mary Howard will become their third candidate.
