Crowds of over 1600 people descended on Killaloe this afternoon to support the 6th Annual Killaloe Pink Ribbon Walk, in Aid of Action Breast Cancer.

Over 1000 people took part in the 10K walk, which was led out by Niamh Briggs, captain of the Irish Ladies Rugby team.
Funds in excess of €50,000 were raised in 2014, with a figure in excess of that expected from this afternoons renewal.
All funds raised go directly to Action Breast Cancer
