HSE Warns Clare People Not To Become Complacent Amid Concern Over Predicted COVID Surge

The HSE is making a fresh appeal to the people of Clare not to become complacent, amid fears of a surge in covid-19 cases in the new year.

Public Health Officials believe daily case numbers have hit a low point and will not fall further this side of Christmas, with the Chief Medical Officer warning that a significant surge of Covid-19 cases may be inevitable in January.

The HSE’s Director of Public Health in the Mid-West has congratulated the people of Clare for continuing to comply with public health advice, with case numbers remaining in single digits for the past three weeks.
