A 40-unit project on Ennis’ Kilrush road, visited by Housing Minister Darragh O Brien on a recent trip to this county, as well as 27 dwellings in Miltown Malbay and 25 houses in Doonaun, Tulla also have construction workers on site.

Other projects well underway include two separate works in Newmarket-On-Fergus, as well as further builds in Ennis, Doonbeg and Killaloe.

Of the 47 projects contained in the Department’s report, 29 are now considered completed.

Of the remaining nine, two are fully approved, two are waiting to go to tender, two are in the design stage and two are in the early capital appraisal phase.
