Rents For New Tenancies In Clare Jump By More Than 10%

Rents for new tenancies in Clare jumped by more than 10% in the third quarter of last year.

The latest Rent Index Report from the Residential Tenancies Board, shows renters in new tenancies in Clare were forking out just over 981 euro a month on average, up from 932 euro in the same period the previous year.

For renters in Ennis, that number jumped to €1,070 between July and September last year, Shannon wasn’t far behind with the monthly cost at €1,047. In Killaloe it was €977 and in Ennistymon renters paid out €804.
