House prices in Clare have risen by just over 1% in the first three months of this year.
New figures from the REA Average House Price Index shows an average three bed semi-detached house in the county now costs around 180,000.

Overall, the average house price across the county rose by 9.1% over the past 12 months, on account of a limited stock of properties.
REA spokesperson Barry McDonald explains the reason for the improvement in stability.
