Management and nursing staff at Ennis General are being urged to engage in talks to resolve a dispute which is among the issues leading to delays in opening the hospital’s new state-of-the-art in-patient unit.

The HSE had said the facility would be open at the beginning of July, but no patient has been seen there – as of yet – as ‘human resource arrangements’ are being finalised and some equipment has yet to arrive.
In a statement to Clare FM, the Executive says the facility will open ‘shortly.’
