The CEO of Shannon Chamber claims a new direct link between Shannon Airport with Galway will provide for a boost in investment in the region.
The new 550 million euro M17/M18 motorway extension opened this week, and it’s hoped the route will lead to increased economic activity in the Mid West, as well as the development of jobs.
It spans over 54 kilometres and represents one of the biggest infrastructural investments for the West of Ireland.
