A Clare organisation supporting more than 500 children with special needs is hopeful of finally securing some funding from the State.
Clare Crusaders, which provides a range of essential therapies for children with a range of physical and intellectual challenges, currently receives no financial support from government.
The centre, based in Barefield, is supported entirely through voluntary fundraising and needs €250-thousand annually to continue its work.
Clinical Director Ann Norton says she won’t hesitate in applying pressure on local TDs.
