Its hoped the provision of hundreds of additional free parking spaces in Ennis in the run up to the festive period, will lead to a significant boost in footfall in the town.
Clare County Council has announced that from Friday, December 7th until January 5th you can park at public car parks for free from 3pm each Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
In the two weekends before Christmas O’Connell Square, O’Connell Street, Salthouse Lane and High Street will be closed to traffic from midday until 6pm to help enhance the shopping experience for locals & visitors to the town.
