A leading homeless prevention charity assisted 183 Clare households in the final quarter of 2025.
Threshold’s latest report for the period of last October to December, shows it prevented 700 individuals and family units from entering homelessness nationwide.

According to the group, 60% of its quarterly presentations from Clare, involved tenants who had received a notice to quit.
Threshold National Advocacy Manager Ann-Marie O’Reilly says this is far above the national average.
