A low level status yellow high temperature alert has been issued for Clare and the rest of the country.
Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures in excess of 27 degrees combined with night-time temperatures of 15 degrees from tomorrow.

The forecaster is warning of potential impacts including water safety issues due to increased use of lakes or beaches, uncomfortable sleeping conditions and heat stress.
The alert comes into force at noon tomorrow and remains in place until Friday morning at 9am.
