HSE Pledges To Look At How Ennis Can Assist With Reducing UHL Overcrowding

The HSE has pledged to continue to look at how Ennis General Hospital and other facilities in the Midwest can assist with reducing overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick.

Concerns have been expressed ahead of the oncoming winter flu season at the possibility that demand could overhwlem local services.

While figures yesterday showed seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Dooradoyle, this has now dropped to five, with two of those now in ICU.
