The HSE has confirmed a new ward extension at Raheen Community Hospital will be open and operational by the middle of next year.
The upgrade will provide HIQA compliant accommodation to 7 residents in the existing Community Nursing Unit at the Tumagraney facility.
It’s understood works that began back in March to relocate the existing plant and boiler house are completed and that the 420 square metre extension is now underway.
