40% Higher Than Average Attendance At UHL ED As Public Advised Of Long Delays

Presentations at the emergency department of the region’s main hospital have been 40 percent higher than pre-pandemic averages this week.

It comes as members of the public with less urgent complaints are being advised of long delays at University Hospital Limerick’s ED.

There were 280 admissions to the department in Dooradoyle on Monday – which is 43 percent higher than 2019 levels.
