Residents in parts of Corbally are calling for steps to be taken to eradicate hogweed in the area.
The plant appears innocuous but if the sap touches your skin, it can result in a very bad burn and serious skin inflammation, while it can also cause blindness if the sap comes into contact with your eyes.
The Shannon Banks area in Corbally is one of a number of areas where the plant has concerned residents for a number of years.
