A campaign group intending to formally object to plans for a new hospital in Limerick say the decision risks continuing “traumatic” experiences for Clare people into the future.
The Midwest Hospital Campaign has revealed its intention to take a judicial review against the HSE’s proposal to develop a new hospital campus on a 44-acre site in Raheen.
It’s understood the judicial review will be based on determining whether the decision-making process was fair, evidence-based and transparent.
Ennis-based Midwest Hospital Campaign co-founder Hilary Tonge says the people at the coalface of the overcrowding crisis can’t be forgotten.
