The government has announced a €900,000 grant for the provision of a multifunctional performance auditorium at the Cnoc na Gaoithe Cultural Centre in Tulla.
The funding will go a long way to supporting a €1.2 million regeneration project at the former Convent of Mercy building which now houses the Cultural Centre operated by the Tulla branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

It’s one of 26 projects being supported in today’s latest round of funding announced under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund, worth a total of €62 million.
