Government Criticised For Lack Of Leadership On Re-Opening Of Pubs

The Chair of Clare VFI has hit out at the Government for a lack of leadership concerning the re-opening of pubs.

If comes as draft guidelines published by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre have indicated that restaurants and pubs that serve food could reduce social distancing from two metres to one under certain circumstances.

It’s understood customers will only be allowed to stay for 90 minutes and they must pre-book, while they’ll have to spend at least nine euro on a substantial meal.
