Google is hosting one of the first in a series of regional Digital Roadshows in the MidWest this week, as part of efforts to get more Irish SMEs trading online.
The internet giant held its first event in Limerick yesterday, and is holding a second workshop in Shannon today as part of its Staying Ahead initiative that is run in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland.
The company says it has already provided training to 60,000 individuals and businesses in Ireland, and that it wants to help them to ‘think global’ to achieve sustainable long-term growth.
Head of Google Ireland Finnoula Meehan has told Clare FM that she thinks there are great opportunities for Clare businesses online.
