Gardaí Warn Of Suspicious Callers To Houses In Parts Of Clare

Gardaí have received a number of reports of suspicious callers to houses in parts of Clare.

At around 8.30pm last Tuesday evening, four men wearing PhoneWatch jackets called to a house in Fermoyle, Kilmore but when the owner opened the door, they got back into a dark coloured 212 vehicle and left the area.

Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer says Gardaí have received further reports of a man calling to houses in the Inch and Ballyea areas claiming to be from PhoneWatch and looking for cash deposits for products.
