The driver of a tractor was stopped on the M18 motorway this morning by the county’s road policing unit.
The vehicle was only capable of travelling at 35 kilometres per hour, below the minimum required speed of 50 kilometres per hour.
On Twitter, Gardaí say the driver told them he was taking a shortcut between farms.
It’s not known if the individual was sanctioned.
