An official inquiry into allegations of Garda malpractice will be unveiled today.
Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald will publish the terms of reference to the inquiry this morning.

The inquiry will expand on the Guerin Report, which looked into allegations of misconduct raised by Sergeant Maurice McCabe and led to the resignation of Alan Shatter as Justice Minister.
Sergeant McCabe's claims related to a number of serious offences, including the case of Jerry McGrath who was on bail when he murdered Sixmilebridge mother Sylvia Roche Kelly in 2007.
